Cal Poly Graphic Communication Program Goes National and International
SAN LUIS OBISPO - As part of a move to enhance geographic diversity and open educational opportunities, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is accepting applications from national and international candidates October 1 through November 30. Applications must be submitted through the systemwide California State University submission portal: www.CSUMentor.edu.
Since its inception more than 100 years ago, Cal Poly has primarily served the state of California. However, with its growing reputation as one of the most comprehensive universities in the nation, the university is expanding its recruiting reach beyond the borders of California.
Through this new recruiting initiative, Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication Department provides degree opportunities for students from all states and nations interested in careers in printing, publishing, packaging, graphic communication management, graphic communication technology, design reproduction technology, digital media and web development.
“I’ve been waiting for this initiative for years,” said Harvey Levenson, Graphic Communication department head. “We receive numerous inquiries from prospective students from other states and nations wanting to study Graphic Communication at Cal Poly. I couldn’t be more delighted with this opportunity to broaden the student base we educate and prepare the future leadership of our industry.”
