Looking for a paid internship in NYC

I'm looking to head out to NYC for the summer. Anyone who might be able to help me with contacts for people working with record labels, art galleries, design firms, or magazines would be greatly appreciated.

With the market the way it is, isn't not surprising finding a gig would be tougher than normal. But I'm sure it'll work out. If you are going to be in the city during spring break I would love to meet up and swap design school stories. I'm curious how design schools are on the no-costs.
